Types of Dermals Fillers
At the Botox Boutique & More, we offer a variety of dermal fillers. Dermal fillers are used to restore lost volume such as in the midface, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, lips, and for chin augmentation. Some types of dermal fillers can be injected into the hands for hand rejuvenation.
We offer products from Allergan such as the Juvederm line, Galderma which provides a variety of Restylane products, and Merz which offers Radiesse and Belotero. Most dermal fillers are made of hyaluronic acid, while Radiesse is comprised of calcium hydroxylapatite, (CaHA), and have different properties based on how they are constructed or cross-linked. Some provide more lifting ability than others and therefore one may be a better choice than the other based on degree of volume replacement desired, location being injected, and desired treatment result.
Dermal fillers last on average 6-12 months and some patients may return sooner for retreatment before the effects fully wear off. Also, as every patient is different, some patients may see less or more of a duration after their treatment. The type and amount of dermal filler also plays a role not only in results but length of time that the dermal filler can last. Cost of dermal filler is also variable based on the product used and amount.
